Recommended mattress thickness is 6" for the upper bed and 8" for the bottom beds. The weight capacity is 250 lbs for the upper bed and 350 lbs for the bottom beds. No box spring is required. Each bed has 10 slats to support the mattress.

Some assembly is required, but a clear and detailed instruction guide is provided, along with all necessary tools, for quick and easy setup. This bunk bed is made in China.
